Please tell me about the SCA and how it applies to me. |
| |
This contract has been awarded by the Army based upon the Service Contract Act (SCA). The past (incumbent) contract was not an SCA contract.

The Service Contract Act (SCA) requires contractors to pay covered employees no less than the locally prevailing wages and fringe benefits. The U.S. Department of Labor determines the locally prevailing wage rate and fringe benefit rate.
See http://www.wdol.gov/sca.aspx#0 for your specific location's wage determination. The equivalent DOL labor category assigned by USAREC to your position is General Clerk II.
